Global & Mobile…

Global & Mobile!

God has been showing us to expand our Vision!

He has been clarifiying that YWAM Hollywood is to continue to expand our impact with a Virtual Global Studio that sends Mobile Media Teams to create content on location, as well as in Hollywood. 

Part of our team will be traveling to Europe next month for the YWAM International Arts Gathering in England! 

We were been asked to schedule the Seminar teachers for the YWAM Go 4 Glory, International Arts & Sports Festival in Harpenden, England, July 20 to 25th, 2012.

We have already begun to  put together a great line up of teachers. Pray for us to be able to get all the teachers and speakers scheduled for the gathering. We are currently looking at having over 50 seminars being offered!

Please join us as we pray for Hollywood, and also all the international team members that will be in England for the YWAM International Arts Gathering and the Olympic Outreach “Go 4 Glory”!

City of stars…

HollywoodPrayerJanHollywood is a city of stars.

There is the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where you can see all the stars of… well all the stars.

There is also the twinkle of the lights of the town at night. This picture was taken from Griffith Observatory one night when we went up there to pray. We pray for the love of God to pour out over this great city of Hollywood.

Crying out for Hollywood…

DianeGodTVTheCRY Hollywood was March 15! 

It went great! Our Leader, Diane, got to pray on stage for Producers/Directors as well as Studio Executives.

She was also one of a group that got to pray on stage for Justin Beiber’s Mom, and Katy Perry’s parents.

TheCRY Hollywood was broadcast on God TV, and if you missed joining us here in Hollywood, you can now watch the broadcast on God TV video on-line.

There is about 12 hours of programing! You can see the segment where Diane got to pray starting about 40 minutes in the 3rd part. She prayed a couple of times, the first one is in Part 3 about 45 minutes in the video. After that you can keep watching & see us pray for Justin Bieber’s Mom & Katy Perry’s folks.

He does!

He has Hollywood in the palm of HIS hand.

Our Mission, here at YWAM Hollywood, is to utilize Arts, Media, Entertainment and Worship to Disciple the Nations by communicating the love of God, the truth of God’s word, the reality of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to the world!

And it all starts with us LOVING Hollywood too!

We love the people in the entertainment industry!

They are a special group of talented people who daily use their lives to influence society….

And we want them to know that God loves them!

Missions is a big part of what we do at YWAM Hollywood. After all, we are YOUTH WITH A MISSION!

One of the great things about being in YWAM is we have a worldwide family that all work together to do the great work of God.

Recently our staff attended the YWAM Global Workshop.

It was a great time of connecting with likeminded people from around the world. We had a special meeting with all the College of Arts and Sports leadership.

What great work they are doing around the world!

Our trip to University of the Nations in Kona for the YWAM Global Workshop was great and very productive!

Hollywood Worship & Prayer: 11.11.11

We had a great time at our small strategic worship & prayer gathering of invited intercessors at the Hollywood Bowl on 11.11.11 from 11am – 1:11 pm.

This continued the strategy that the Lord gave us about filling up the “Hollywood Bowl” with prayer. We often take small prayer groups to pray at the Hollywood Bowl, as well as at the Hollywood Sign, and Griffith Park, and on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We love Hollywood, and God loves Hollywood. We want it to become all that God has planned for this wonderful city!

We have now had worship & prayer times at the Hollywood Bowl for the last several years!

We hosted worship and prayer times on 8.8.8, on 9.9.9, on 10.10.10 & on 1.1.11.

Now we just had the 11.11.11 gathering!

We love to pray at the Hollywood Bowl! 🙂

Hollywood out our window…

Sign-IMG_2619During the day you can clearly see the Hollywood sign from our office at the old CBS Studios in Hollywood. It looks really small in the picture, but it looks BIG outside our window.

Why don’t you come and see for  yourself?

We would love for you to come and join us during our worship service, or for our prayer times!

Worship Service – YWAM HOLLYWOOD Worship Service – Tuesday morning from 9 – 11AM we hold our weekly Worship Watch Service. This is a powerful time of Worshiping together. Our times often include the Arts and the Prophetic.

Prayer & Intercession –YWAM HOLLYWOOD Prayer & Intercession – Thursday morning from 9 – 11AM we hold our weekly Prayer and Intercession Service. This is a powerful time of waiting together on God to hear His words for us today. Our prayer and intercession times often include the Arts and the Prophetic.

open-bible-11288023214vduXWe of Youth With A Mission Hollywood believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God’s son; that people are created in God’s image; that He created us to have eternal life through Jesus Christ; that although all people have sinned and come short of God’s glory, God has made salvation possible through the death on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that repentance, faith, love and obedience are fitting responses to God’s initiative of grace towards us; that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth; and that the Holy Spirit’s power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishment of Christ’s last commandment, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

Youth With A Mission is dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His Body, the Church, and to present the whole gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world.

We would love for you to become a part of changing the world for God!
