Discover and Do Your Destiny

You have started on your journey to change the world for Jesus. But, you need clarity on your calling so that you can be successful. We can help.

Take the Discover and Do Your Destiny class to discover how God designed you, and what God’s plan is for your life. You will learn the basics of understanding God’s will for your life – based on Biblical foundations and principles. You will learn how to hear from God for Divine direction. You will learn the basic habits that are needed for your Christian walk. You will complete your “Discover Your Destiny Workbook” to discover the Destiny that God has put inside you. You will be able to discover your destiny, so you can work with God in His plan for your life.  Discovering who you are and why God made you that way is an exciting journey! Spending time discovering your destiny is one of the most important things you can do in your life!

This course includes two seminars that enable you to Discover and Do Your Destiny. Each seminar is a 1 unit college credit course through the University of the Nations, so you will get 2 units of college credit for this course.

This course is taught through written material, prerecorded video, and/or prerecorded audio teaching. Therefore all course content is available for you to read, watch, or listen to, whenever works best for your schedule.

* Students Must complete the course within 3 Months after Enrollment Date to receive credit for the course. All of our University Credit Courses are on a Semester Schedule and start in either August or January. You can enroll anytime, but the course will not be available for grading until the semester cycle of August or January.

Each student who has successfully completed the class, including all their homework, has discovered their destiny. Diane has a passion to see individuals experience the life-changing revelation of Discovering their Destiny and developing their life plan to fulfill their Destiny.

Diane has taught with the University of the Nations for many years. She has traveled to over 60 countries has trained students from over 100 countries. Dr. Rev. Diane Wigstone has her Bachelor’s (BBA), Master’s (MBA), and Doctorate in Business (DBA). She is the current Director of YWAM Hollywood.

The seminar will enable you to know the 10 Basic Disciplines of their Christian Walk and teach you how to make them a daily habit in your life. This teaching includes scriptures from the Bible talking about each of the 10 basic disciplines. 

At the end of this class, you will have the skills to identify the actions that you need to take daily to grow in your walk with God. You will have new skills to help you to Love God, Love yourself, and Love others. Teacher Information: 

Cornelia “Corrie” ten Boom was born on April 15, 1892, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Corrie was a Dutch Christian who worked as a watchmaker with her father, Casper ten Boom. She trained to be a watchmaker herself, and in 1922, she became the first woman to be licensed as a watchmaker in The Netherlands. Over the next decade, in addition to working in her father’s shop, she established a youth club for teenage girls, which provided religious instruction and classes in the performing arts, sewing, and handicrafts. In May 1940, the Germans invaded the Netherlands. One of their restrictions was the banning of the youth club. Corrie and her family help many Jews escape the Nazis from the Holocaust during World War II by hiding them in her home. She believed her actions were following the will of God. They were caught, and she was arrested and sent to the Ravensbrück concentration camp.

“God does not have problems. Only plans,” proclaimed Corrie when a clerical error allowed her to be released from a Nazi concentration camp one week before all women prisoners her age were executed. Her 1971 autobiography, and most famous book, The Hiding Place, became a movie in 1975, inspiring many to see God at work through the darkest of life’s circumstances. It recounts the story of her family’s efforts to help Jews escape the Nazis and how she found hope in God while she was imprisoned at the concentration camp. Corrie continued to live with a remarkable reliance on God, just as her family had when they hid Jews from Nazi terror. Corrie established rehabilitation centers to help other Holocaust survivors. She became an ambassador of the power of forgiveness in Christ and went on to write many books and to travel to more than 60 countries as a public speaker.  In 1977, the 85-year-old Corrie migrated to Placentia, California. She died on her 91st birthday, 15 April 1983, after suffering her third stroke.

In this class, we have included some of Corrie’s classic video teachings so you can learn from her and become a part of her incredible legacy.
