Hollywood out our window…

Sign-IMG_2619During the day you can clearly see the Hollywood sign from our office at the old CBS Studios in Hollywood. It looks really small in the picture, but it looks BIG outside our window.

Why don’t you come and see for  yourself?

We would love for you to come and join us during our worship service, or for our prayer times!

Worship Service – YWAM HOLLYWOOD Worship Service – Tuesday morning from 9 – 11AM we hold our weekly Worship Watch Service. This is a powerful time of Worshiping together. Our times often include the Arts and the Prophetic.

Prayer & Intercession –YWAM HOLLYWOOD Prayer & Intercession – Thursday morning from 9 – 11AM we hold our weekly Prayer and Intercession Service. This is a powerful time of waiting together on God to hear His words for us today. Our prayer and intercession times often include the Arts and the Prophetic.

What does YWAM believe?

open-bible-11288023214vduXWe of Youth With A Mission Hollywood believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God’s son; that people are created in God’s image; that He created us to have eternal life through Jesus Christ; that although all people have sinned and come short of God’s glory, God has made salvation possible through the death on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that repentance, faith, love and obedience are fitting responses to God’s initiative of grace towards us; that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth; and that the Holy Spirit’s power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishment of Christ’s last commandment, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

Youth With A Mission is dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His Body, the Church, and to present the whole gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world.

We would love for you to become a part of changing the world for God!

Change the World for God with YWAM Hollywood

Our YWAM Hollywood Mission is to utilize Arts, Media, Entertainment and Worship to Disciple the Nations by communicating the love of God, the truth of God’s word, the reality of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to the world!

We are partnering with other YWAM Bases around the world to help them to further develop their ability to create content for their nation and region as well.

On the Red Carpet…

When you are working as a church ministry in Hollywood, many days are filled with the ‘mundane’ tasks of planning services, and the administration necessary when running a church ministry.

Some days feel more glamorous than others…

More like Hollywood…

Last month we had one of those fun days partnering with the MOVIEGUIDE® for their big Awards event.

We love to partner with other Christian organizations in Hollywood to help their vision for this city and the industry to be successful. Sometimes that means setting up chairs for event, or helping to distribute fliers…

This time it meant we got to get all dressed up in gowns (or suits) and hang out on the red carpet with some Hollywood famous actors, actresses, producers and directors.

The Movie Guide Awards are dedicated to honoring the studio executives, producers, directors, actors and writers of MOVIEGUIDE®’s ‘Best of the Year’ movies. They encourage movies and television programs that positively impact the world community.

What are you doing this month to encourage those making movies and television programs that positively impact the world?

Happy Valentines Day from Hollywood!

We pray that God’s love fills your heart and your life today!

Our new YWAM HOLLYWOOD staff  is having a great time loving the people in Hollywood with the love of God.

We love our wonderful 1921 townhouse in Hollywood’s Los Feliz area where we live, and we love having folks from Hollywood come over and share a meal, and a time of worship with us.

God is so good!
