Q: What are your Self Improvement Courses? A: Our Self Improvement Courses are non-graded classes. These helpful courses often include training we have developed for you using a variety of teaching resources. Tuition will vary for each class. Log in & Enroll today!

Q: What are your Certification Courses? A: Our Certification Courses are graded courses where a grade of C or better will be required to gain certification. Q: What courses do you offer online? A: Our Destiny Courses are all about you! In our Discover and Do Your Destiny Course, you will discover God’s will for your life, how God created you, and what He has called you to do. Our Leadership and Ministry curriculum offerest courses to help you grow in God and grow in your success. Our Creative study courses focus on training you to Disciple the Nations through the Arts, Media, & Entertainment. (DNA-ME) Students can take individual seminars, workshops, classes, and schools in a variety of creative disciplines. Many of these classes are currently only taught on-location. Q: Can a high school student enroll in your College Credit Courses as part of their homeschooling curriculum? A: Yes, if they are at least 15 years old, a high school student can enroll in our College Credit Courses as part of their homeschooling curriculum. For all of our College Credit online courses, the Students must be 15 years old to take the courses. Q: What courses are you planning to offer in the future? A: We are continually developing new courses that will equip you to do your destiny and to create content to disciple the nations with the truth of God. Q: Do I have to fill out a lengthy application to be accepted into your online school? A: No! To register for one of YWAM Hollywood’s courses, simply add it to your cart and check out. Q: How many hours per week will the classes require? A: Course work varies, but the classes and homework will take you several hours per week. For example, for our University Credit Courses, it is estimated that each one unit of college credit will be 25 hours of classes and assignments.

Q: Is there much homework? A: Homework varies, but for our University Credit Courses, as in any college-level course, there is quite a bit of homework. We estimate that each one unit of college credit will be 25 hours of classes and assignments.

Q: Can I take a YWAM Hollywood course and not do the homework? A: No, you must complete the homework, to be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion and/or University Credit.

Q: Do you include the books in the tuition costs? A: Some of our courses include an ebook version of the required books in your tuition. Some courses require you to purchase books in addition to your tuition. We did this because we want to keep the tuition cost the same for our University Credit Courses for each unit of college credit. Since the costs of the books vary for each class, we allow you to purchase them separately from the tuition costs. 

Q: Do I have to buy additional books for each class? A: As in any college-level courses, there are often textbooks and additional reading books that are required. Some of our courses include an ebook version of the required books in your tuition. Some courses require you to purchase books in addition to your tuition. Most classes have additional reading requirements and/or textbooks that the students must buy. Required reading books may have a test, or a book report, that you will need to complete and submit before the end of the class, in order to successfully complete in the course.

Q: Are the class teaching session in a clear and specific order? A: Yes. Each class session is organized in a way that you can learn in a specific order. All homework must also be completed in order, as the classes build each session on the homework that you completed the previous session. Q: Can I work on my class at any time? A: Yes. Most of our teachings are pre-recorded. Once you register for an online course, it will be available to you anywhere at any time. We want you to be able to learn on the schedule that works best for you. A few workshops are live-streaming and will be clearly identified as live-streaming workshops. YWAM Hollywood uses the “moodle” online education platform. Q: How do I see the course content? A: Your online course content, including teaching, assignment, homework requirements, and tests will be available to you after your tuition is paid in full. Q: How do I get the University of the Nations credits for my course work? A: There will be a small additional registration expense for UofN students, and an additional application process as well. We are currently working with UofN to determine the final process of getting credit through the UofN for our classes. Q: How do I get credits for my course work from other Universities, Colleges, Institutes, or Schools? A: Most Universities, Colleges, Institutes, or Schools have their own process for accepting courses from other institutions for transfer credits in their schools. You need to check with that school to see their requirements and processes for transferring classes for credit with them. We are happy to work with any of their Administration offices to help them understand the scope of your classes. 

Graduation-exampleQ: What do I need to do to receive a Certificate of Completion for my class? A: All students that successfully complete all of the classes, homework, and attendance for our Certification Courses & University Credit Courses will receive a Graduation Certificate for their successfully completed course work. Q: What are the advantages of receiving a Certificate of Completion? A: Your successful completion of our courses confirms that you are competent in the course work completed. Q: Are your University Credit Courses accredited? A: Our University Credit Courses are approved for college credit with the University of the Nations (UofN) which is a degree granting institution (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees). The UofN has not applied for accreditation in any one nation’s educational system, as classes are offered worldwide. However, various accredited institutions throughout the world accept the University of the Nations (UofN) transfer students and credits. Q: Can I sign up my family as one “student”? A: No. But, we do want you to be able to share your knowledge with others, as our goal is to train Christians to do what God created them to do. You can register your family members under one of our group plans. These group programs allow you to register a group of students at a discounted group rate per student, and then to read/listen/watch the training together via the leader’s access to the course material. That way your spouse and/or children may listen to the audio/ view the video with you – at the same time. However, the class materials are copyright protected, and the administrative load is increased with each student. Q: Can I share the teaching materials from my class? A: Yes, and No. We want you to be able to share your knowledge with others, as our goal is to train Christians to do what God created them to do. However, the class materials are copyright protected. Therefore, the class materials, whether written material, audio, or videos, are not to be shared with unregistered students. If you are interested in using the materials to teach a class on-location, we have programs available for you to lead a class and register your students at a discounted group rate per student. These group programs allow you to register a group of students at a discounted group rate per student, and then to read/listen/watch the training together via the leader’s access to the course material. Q: Do you have a scholarship program for students? A: Yes. Scholarship discounts may be available for our University Credit Course students based on their ability to pay due to the student’s nationality and on the location where they are currently living. The University of the Nations uses A, B, C nation pricing bands. [click here for a link to these nation categories]. No Scholarship discounts are available for students who live in, or are citizens of, Financial Category A or B countries. Scholarship discounts may be available for students whose nationality AND current location are in Financial Category C countries. You must both live in, and be a citizen of, a Financial Category C country to apply.
